 The
OSU Wind Symphony performed at the 2008 OMEA State Conference
in Cincinnati under the direction of Dr, Russel C. Mikkelson, Director
of Bands. The program performed was indicative of concerts
performed regularly by this ensemble: the finest repertoire available
for the medium including transcriptions, works commissioned by
the OSU Bands, works by composers each of whom possesses an innovative
and unique musical voice, and most importantly, music that runs
the gamut of human emotion and experience.
